Amid an unexpected warm spring evening, the lodge initiated Dr. Brendan Roe as an Entered Apprentice Mason with visitors from Friendship Masonic Lodge No. 160 and as far flung as Tuality Lodge No. 6 in Hillsboro assisting in his conferral. It’s been a long time coming for Brother Roe, who started his journey into Freemasonry last December. His initiation is the last for this quarter and is the fifth Entered Apprentice Degree performed by the lodge this year alone.
Again, thanks to the following brothers for their assistance:
- WB Mitch Obeid, Past Master of Sunnyside Lodge No. 163 for serving as Treasurer during the opening and closing
- Brother Leo Schuman, Senior Warden of Friendship Masonic Lodge No. 160 for serving as Senior Warden during the opening and closing
- Brother Christopher Chase, Senior Deacon of Friendship Masonic Lodge No. 160 for serving as Senior Steward during the degree
- Brother Brian Hellman, Junior Warden of Tuality Lodge No. 6 for serving as Junior Waren during the degree
