Kenton hosts MWB Art Borland during its November Stated Meeting

The lodge’s taper candles were colored in gold last night as Kenton formally received MWB Art Borland, Grand Master of Masons in Oregon during his official visitation to the lodge at its November stated meeting.

The evening started off with a hearty dinner by none other than Mr. Eric Pease, who has also formally submitted his petition to join the lodge. A check totaling in the amount of $1,000.00 was also presented during dinner to Brother Nathan Ball on behalf of Astor School. The funds are to be used for various extra-curricular student activities in the coming months.

While the brethren retired to the lodge room for the formal business of the evening, the ladies in attendance were treated to an exceptional ladies’ program experience headed by Brother Joe Andres who wowed the crowd with a showcase of magic tricks.

Perhaps the most important aspect of the evening’s meeting was the election of lodge officers for the ensuing Masonic year. The following brothers were duly elected for their respective offices:

  • Worshipful Master: Brother Andrew Gross
  • Senior Warden: Brother Sami Aldrete
  • Junior Warden: Brother Joey Piazza
  • Treasurer: Brother Roy Ball III
  • Secretary: RWB Dale Palileo

WB Michael Shebora was also elected as 4-year trustee to continue WB Todd Dow’s remaining term.
