Lodge Leadership Attends Grand Lodge of Oregon’s Masonic Day of Training

MST 2025 - leadership

The month of March is shaping up to be a very busy month, especially for the lodge’s Worshipful Master, Senior and Junior Wardens.

Just two days after this year’s first Investigation Forum session, WB Valan Primus, Honored Brother Mike Milford and WB Zack Andrew attended this year’s Masonic Day of Training at Milwaukie-Waluga Lodge no. 109.

This year’s training was uniquely different from previous versions. A discussion panel consisting of RWB Greg Hinkelman (Junior Grand Warden), WB Justin Fleming, RWB Adam Bayer (District Deputy of District. no. 3–Kenton’s district) and WB Dale Palileo (Grand Lecturer) was livestreamed throughout the state. A lodge in each district hosted a district-wide meeting to watch the livestream and ask questions via live chat, which were answered by the panelists. The topic of discussion? Lodge revitalization.

Due to RWB Bayer being a panelist, Districts 3 and 5 combined their meeting location which was attended by Milwaukie-Waluga no. 109, Willamette no.2 and Kenton 145.

The livestream portion of the training lasted for 3 hours. Afterwards, each district was encouraged to provide lunch for all attendees while holding their own discussions on the training topic.

This year’s Masonic Day of Training follows another Grand Lodge event that was attended by Kenton’s leadership, namely the Occasional Grand Lodge that was held on March 1st at Lents Masonic Temple.
