Posted on September 30, 2016
Last night, the Feast of St. Michael was marked by the brethren of Kenton Masonic Lodge No. 145 with a long-awaited Master Mason degree for Brother Ryan Whittenburg, who was initiated last June after a lengthy pre-petitioning process.
The event was made special by the attendance of MWB Rich Martin, Past Grand Master of Masons in Oregon for 2011-2012, and RWB Tom Binkerd, District Deputy of the Grand Master of Masons in Oregon for District No. 4, which is Kenton’s Masonic district.
Other regular visiting brothers in attendance were WB Jim Hofbauer and Brother Hunter Bronson. Brethren from Portland Lodge No. 155 and Milwaukie Lodge No. 109 were also in attendance.
Brother Whittenburg marks the 5th Master Mason to be raised at Kenton this year.
