Straight off the heels of WB Adam Kendall’s talk last Saturday, the brothers of the lodge raised Brother Logan Stark to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in a ceremony that proved the lodge’s resiliency in conferring degrees in-house.

With five of the lodge’s usual Master Mason cast participants being absent for various reasons, the lodge still managed to confer the degree headed by WB Piazza sitting in the East, with honored Brothers Cawley and Lell rounding out the Western and Southern chairs. Honored Brother Doug Auld performed multiple duties in the second section, acting as Senior Deacon and HKT to complete the evening’s cast list. WB Palileo performed KS, lecture and charge duties. WB Sami Aldrete’s participation was also crucial particularly in the second section.

The degree was attended by several visiting brethren, namely WB Tom Berger, sitting Worshipful Master of Menifee Valley Lodge no. 289, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of California, and Brother Andy Bartolome of Multhomah Lodge no. 1.

The usual sumptuous meal prepared by honored Brother Valan Primus awaited the brethren after the degree, with the usual celebratory speeches and other festivities.
