Kenton Initiates Lucas Plant

The Entered Apprentice Degree is perhaps one of the most important experiences in anyone’s Masonic journey. It is someone’s first formal introduction into the culture and traditions of the Craft, and it highlights a few important lessons as defining cornerstones in one’s Masonic membership. It can be a very unforgettable event, especially when done correctly.
Such was the experience of a certain Lucas Plant last night as the members of Kenton Lodge initiated him into the Entered Apprentice Degree.
His degree has been a highly anticipated event not only by Mr. Plant but also by officers of the lodge who were keen on getting the first Entered Apprentice Degree of the year in the books. Given that the last Entered Apprentice Degree held by the lodge was for Alex Hanna last October 28th, 2021, the brethren of the lodge were looking forward to witnessing certain aspects of the event.
Several brothers, namely WB Mitch Pennell of Willamette Lodge no. 2, Brother Joe Aguirre and BEA Karma Tashi Kurung of Cornerstone Lodge no. 157 were also in attendance.
The lodge now looks forward to raising Brother Matt Thomas to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason next week.
