Fall is upon us, and since the second Thursday of October is just days away, preparations for our monthly stated meeting are underway.

This month’s meeting promises to have a few different things from the previous stated meetings of the year as WB Todd Dow will not be in attendance due to conflicting business schedules. If you want to see how next year’s officer line will look like, then this month’s meeting will give you a glimpse of that as Brother Senior Warden Michael Shebora will be heading the helm during the evening.

Given that we’re in the month of October, this meeting’s dinner will feature cuisine with a German flair.

In other news, the lodge attended a PTA meeting at Boise-Eliot / Humboldt School where the lodge sponsored the Grand Lodge’s Raise-A-Reader program. The program was introduced by the school’s staff to the parents and was warmly received.

The lodge’s representatives also made their annual trek to Astoria for the Astoria Masonic Weekend where Brother Spencer Brown of Multnomah Lodge No. 1 was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Below are photos from the event.
