The lodge was abuzz with busy members last Thursday as they prepared to confer the first degree not only of the year but also for the decade by conferring the Master Mason Degree on Brother Zack Andrew.
The evening was also an evening of firsts for a few installed officers of the lodge fulfilling their roles in their respective capacities for the first time: Brother Senior Deacon Matt Richardson, Brother Chaplain John Giler as Chaplain, Brother Junior Steward Kaid Collins as Junior Steward and Worshipful Brother Joseph Piazza as Tyler. All performed their respective duties in the first section of the degree.
The second section also saw WB Ian Cawley serving in the east in the second section for the first time.
The lodge now looks forward to conferring the Fellowcraft Degree on Brother Kyle Cisco on the last Thursday of the month.
