“Welcome to the Brotherhood” was the resounding theme from the brothers who were present last night during Troy Palmer’s Entered Apprentice Degree. BEA Palmer follows BFC Nick Mattos as the fifth Entered Apprentice Mason to be initiated at Kenton this year; he certainly won’t be the last as the lodge readies a few more petitions for balloting in October.
Several brethren from as far as Florida were in attendance to witness and assist during the event. Many thanks to the following brothers for their valued assistance:
- WB Michael Robinson (sitting WM of Esoterika 227) for sitting as Treasurer for the opening and closing ceremonies, and for being the official prompter for the degree
- Brother Leo Schuman (Friendship 160) for taking on the Chaplain’s duties
- Brother Tim Kretchmer (Friendship 160) for being an exceptional organist
- BFC Joe Gary (Mt. Hood 32, F. & A.M. of Washington) for the lighting duties
As expected, below are photos from the evening’s festivities. Enjoy!
Master’s quick notes: Esoterika 227 will be having its quarterly talk this Saturday, September 20th at 5:00 PM featuring WB Robert G. Davis as keynote speaker. Master Masons are encouraged to attend.
