Last January 8th, Kenton Masonic Lodge No. 160 held their first Stated Meeting of the year with WB Todd Dow at the helm. The meeting was preceded by a fantastic “traditional Southern New Year’s Day” dinner by Brother Junior Warden Andrew Gross consisting of pot roast, greens and black-eyed peas.

The dinner was then followed by lodge with 2015’s set of officers opening for the first time. WB Michael Benson, current Master of Friendship 160, was honored with a seat in the East alongside WB Todd Dow. Other visitors were also recognized.

New petitions for affiliation were also read, along with balloting for two petitions for degrees. Because of the ballot, the lodge will be having a very busy first quarter of the year, beginning with two Entered Apprentice Degrees for the next two Thursdays and a Master Mason Degree for the end of the month.
