Despite having a few missing brothers due to various reasons, the brothers at Kenton successfully pulled off conferring the Fellowcraft Degree upon Brother Enrique Alvarez last night in a ceremony that was marked with the usual Kenton fanfare typical of the lodge’s traditions and style.

The degree was preceded with an Entered Apprentice Proficiency examination of Brother Alvarez which he easily passed and was enthusiastically received by the brethren present.

The degree was conferred by WB Dale Palileo with WB Valan Primus and WB Jim Emery assuming the Western and Southern chairs respectively.

WB Ian Cawley gave the staircase lecture, finally culminating with the usual “G” lecture and charge, both delivered by WB Dale Palileo.

The lodge now looks forward to examining Brother EA Mike Doty in his proficiency in the lecture of the Entered Apprentice Degree next week. If all goes well, the lodge will then proceed to confer the Fellowcraft Degree on Brother Doty in the same fashion as Brother Alvarez.
