Kenton’s Masonic Education Returns at its October Stated Meeting
Posted on October 14, 2022
Last night, the lodge held its usual monthly stated meeting with the usual fanfare and camaraderie that the lodge has always been known for.
The brethren were treated to a great dinner of chicken shawarma and Israeli salad courtesy of honored Brother Josh Wiedeman, who was stretching his culinary muscles cooking for the lodge for the first time. His menu selection was a hit to the brethren and visitors present.
After the sumptuous dinner, the lodge then proceeded to attend to the business of the evening, most notably the reading of the resolution concerning its consolidation plans with Sunnyside Lodge no. 163, the balloting of Mr. Tyler Manthe’s petition, and the secret election of this year’s Hiram Awardee.
After the meeting, the brethren then retired to the dining hall for honored Brother Zack Andrew’s infamous Masonic education series featuring the life of Brother and Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame.
The lodge now looks forward to initiating Mr. Manthe next week–its fourth and most likely last Entered Apprentice Degree for the year.
Got something to say?
